Better Stack and UptimeRobot also offer limited free tiers. Prices are the reviewed paid plans with monthly billing; UptimeRobot’s is in EUR. Better Stack adds $1 per 100 Playwright minutes.
Checkly runs checks in your CI/CD pipeline or through deployment integrations. SiteOS browser PR checks start from the GitHub deployment of the exact head commit, on any host and without a hosting account connection; code checks run on a hosted executor and do not replace general-purpose CI.
Pulse also collects errors, server logs and traces, browser request traces and masked replays of consented visits. Better Stack is an observability suite with incident response, on-call, logs and error tracking, and Checkly offers separate backend tracing. These are outside the compared rows.
For an alternative, “No” means the workflow was not documented in the reviewed sources (13 Oct 2026); it does not rule out APIs, integrations or CI-triggered monitoring. For SiteOS, it means Pulse does not offer it.
The status page, location and heartbeat rows were checked against each vendor’s official pages on 13 Oct 2026. UptimeRobot needs a paid plan to choose regions or add heartbeat monitors; Checkly’s Hobby plan uses 6 of its 22 locations.

How it works
From a check
to confidence.
Keep useful tests close to your code. Choose when they run, then investigate the actual result.
- 01
Define what works.
Check a page without code, or reuse a Playwright test and let Pulse update it from each deployed commit. Your agent can write the test and publish it to the right Project environment.
Set up website checks - 02
Check the next change.
Connect GitHub and choose preview checks, code checks or both. Keep scheduled monitoring independent from pull request verification.
Verify pull requests - 03
See what went wrong.
Open the failed step, recording or trace. Give your team and agent the same evidence, fix the issue and verify the result.
